Newcastle Upon Tyne
An exceptional office redevelopment located in the centre of Newcastle. The project involved a complete strip out and refurbishment of the existing building to create a new, fit for purpose, Grade A office.
The works included a new reception, upgraded floorplates and IT infrastructure, end of journey facilities, biophilic installations and the conversion of a listed building into a communal workspace area.
An emphasis was placed on sustainability with over 97% of the 260 tonnes of waste recycled and the building upgraded to an EPC Rating B.
Portland House was awarded the Refurbishment of the Year award at the North East Property Awards as well as being shortlisted for Sustainable Project of the Year.
